As regras do Star Battle são simples:
Você deve colocar estrelas na grade de acordo com as regras:
- 2 estrelas não podem estar adjacentes horizontalmente, verticalmente ou diagonalmente.
- Para quebra-cabeças de 1★, você deve colocar 1 estrela em cada linha, coluna e forma.
- Para quebra-cabeças de 2★, as estrelas por linha, coluna e forma devem ser 2, etc.

- O Star Battle "sem forma" usa as mesmas regras sem a restrição de forma.
